Error conditionsError messagesSummer modeWhen the actual spa water temperature reaches up to 1 °Cabove the set temperature, the spa goes into “summer mode.”The circulation pump will turn off automatically to avoid addingadditional heat to the water, eventually creating an overheatcondition. (This setting cannot be programmed by the user).N.B.: The summer mode does not take effect until the spa watertemperature reaches 35 °C. This condition is more likely in ex-cessively hot weather. Keep in mind that the spa’s ability to coolis directly affected by the ambient temperature: an excessivelyhot ambient temperature may prevent the spa from cooling downbecause its fully insulated construction is designed to retainheat and to minimize operating costs.OverheatingOverheat protection. Heater is deactivated.Do not get into the spa, the water may be too hot.- To correct the situation: Remove the spa’s cover and allow your spa to cool down. Program the filter settings for "Economy" mode. Increase thetemperature setting so as to exit "Summer Mode". When the water temperature drops below 41°C, the spa willresume normal operation. If the water does not drop below 41°C, contact your author-ized dealer.Panel Displays BLBUV lamp needs to be replaced. The message will flash between“blb” and the water temperature. The countdown timer for theUV lamp needs to be reset. Contact an authorized Jacuzzi Service Centre. The panel shows SN1Open sensor (heater is deactivated) or shorted sensor (spa is de-activated). The upper-limit temperature sensor is not functioning. Contact an authorized service center. The panel shows SN2Open or shorted sensor (heater disabled). The temperaturesensor is not functioning. Contact an authorized service center. The panel displays FL1 or FL2If the message "FL1" is flashing on the display, it means thatthe pressure switch is not working properly, or that the filteris very dirty, or that there is an air lock in the circulation pump.A flashing “FL2” display means the flow switch is malfunc-tioning closed. This error will cause the heater to deactivate. The main pump 1may also deactivate.- To correct the situation: Check that the water level is about 3 cm from the lowestheadrest. Add water if necessary. Check for clogged/excessively dirty filter cartridge. Vent the "air lock" from the circulation pump by removing thefilter cartridge and inserting a (garden) hose in the cartridgehousing. Place a rag around it in order to "seal" the opening con-nected to the pump. Turn on the water for about 30 seconds. Turnit off and reinstall the cartridge. Check the spa operation. If the circulation pump is not working, turn the main switch offand on to prime it again. If problem persists, contact your authorized dealer. The panel shows COLThe temperature has dropped 11°C below the set temperature. The pump and heater have been activated to bring the tem-perature to within 8 °C of the set temperature. No corrective action is required.N.B.: during cold periods, increase the number of filtration cycles.“COL” will only appear when the spa is in Economy mode. The panel shows ICEFreeze Protection - A potential freeze condition has been de-tected. No operation is required. Main pump will operate to circulatewarm water through the plumbing until the spa is out of danger.N.B.: “ICE” will only appear when the spa is in Economy mode.31
