IMPORTANT: The power supply transformer is rated for internal use onlyand cannot get wet. Protect this transformer as you would any electrical plug.Install LocationThe Jacuzzi JPDS Auto Descaler should be installed downstream of the pool pumpon a horizontal pipe and before the filter. It requires less than 5 inches of straightpipe for the wires to be installed. The pipe should be at low level so that is alwaysfull of water. If there is more than one pump servicing a separate pool of waterfeature, then each pumped line should be treated downstream of the pump for bestresults. This unit will operate on any type of pipe material, including corrugatedand plastic up to 2.5” diameter.Securing the AntennasThis is what it should look like after installation. Note that the left hand wire goesunder the plastic tie and over the top of the pipe with a second plastic tie securingthe end. The right hand wire goes under the pipe and under the plastic tie and windsin the opposite direction.TIP: It is easier to start by placing a plastic zip tie loosely around the pipe. Feed theend of the antenna wire through the zip tie and secure so the least amount ofantenna remains between the zip tie and the unit. The shorter the length the moreavailable to wrap around the pipe and the better the Jacuzzi JPDS will work.TIP: Vibrations from the pump may loosen the wires. Check occasionally toretighten.
