17Sear Burner1. If you have already attempted to light the searing side burner with the igniter, allow 5 minutesfor any accumulated gas to dissipate.2. Insert a match into the lighting rod. Ignite the match and insert through the cooking grid to theburner.3. Press the control knob and rotate left to the “IGNITE/HI” setting, continue to press the knobuntil the burner ignites. The burner should light immediately.4. If the burner does not light within 4 seconds turn the knob to the “OFF” position, wait 5minutes and try again.Lighting Rod |
