If soil remains, reapply Cooktop Cleaning Creme, cover with adamp paper towel and soak for 30 minutes. Scrub again, rinse anddry.• Do not clean in dishwasher or self-cleaning oven.Burner Caps and Sealed Gas BurnersRemovable Burner Caps• Allow burner to cool. Remove burner cap and wash in soapy waterwith a plastic scouring pad. For stubborn soils, clean with a soap-filled, nonabrasive pad or Cooktop Cleaning Creme (Part#20000001)** and a sponge.• Do not clean in dishwasher or self-cleaning oven.Sealed Gas Burner• Clean frequently. Allow burner to cool. Clean with soap and plasticscouring pad. For stubborn soils, clean with a soap-filled, nonabrasivepad.• Be careful not to get water into the center of the burner.• Use care when cleaning the ignitor. If the ignitor is wet or damagedthe surface burner will not light.• To ensure even cooking performance, keep burner ports free of foodsoils/debris.Control Knobs• Remove knobs in the OFF position by pulling up.• Wash with warm, soapy water, rinse and dry. Do not use abrasivecleaning agents or abrasive pads as they may scratch the finish.• Do not soak.• Knobs may be cleaned in the dishwasher. Remove any water markswith hot soapy water to prevent permanent stains.• After replacing the knobs, turn on each burner to be sure the knobshave been correctly replaced.Cooktop - Porcelain EnamelPorcelain enamel is glass fused on metal and may crack or chip withmisuse. It is acid resistant, not acid proof. All spillovers, especially acidicor sugary spillovers, should be wiped up immediately with a dry cloth.• When cool, wash with soapy water, rinse and dry.• Never wipe off a warm or hot surface with a damp cloth. Burner will not light ifignitor is damaged, soiled or wet.
