5Integrated Installation - Full Height GrilleTo remove the top grille panel:1. Open the door(s).2. Slide your fingers under the bottom of the grille panel untilyou can fully grasp the panel, then pull the panel straight out.Place the grille panel on a soft surface.To replace the top grille panel:1. Align the bracket with the mounting posts.2. Push the grille panel forward until the bracket snaps intoplace.Power On or Off Switch1. Remove the top grille panel.2. Press power switch to the On or Off position.3. Replace the top grille panel.IMPORTANT: Be sure the power switch is set to the On positionafter cleaning refrigerator or changing light bulbs.Water Supply RequirementsRead all directions before you begin.IMPORTANT:■ When your refrigerator was installed, the water connectionfrom the water source should have been connected to yourrefrigerator. If your refrigerator is not connected to a watersource, see “Connect to Water Line” in the InstallationInstructions. If you have any questions about your waterconnection, see “Troubleshooting” or call a licensed, qualifiedplumber.■ If you turn the refrigerator on before the water line isconnected, turn the ice maker OFF. See “Ice Maker andStorage Bin.”■ All installations must meet local plumbing code requirements.Water PressureA cold water supply with water pressure between 30 and 120 psi(207 and 827 kPa) is required to operate the water dispenser andice maker. If you have questions about your water pressure, see“Troubleshooting” or call a licensed, qualified plumber.Reverse Osmosis Water SupplyIMPORTANT: The pressure of the water supply coming out of areverse osmosis system going to the water inlet valve of therefrigerator needs to be between 30 and 120 psi (207 and827 kPa).If a reverse osmosis water filtration system is connected to yourcold water supply, the water pressure to the reverse osmosissystem needs to be a minimum of 40 psi (276 kPa).If the water pressure to the reverse osmosis system is less than40 psi (276 kPa):■ Check to see whether the sediment filter in the reverseosmosis system is blocked. Replace the filter if necessary.■ Allow the storage tank on the reverse osmosis system to refillafter heavy usage.■ If your refrigerator has a water filter, it may further reduce thewater pressure when used in conjunction with a reverseosmosis system. Remove the water filter. See “WaterFiltration System.”If you have questions about your water pressure, call a licensed,qualified plumber.Water System PreparationPlease read before using the water system.Immediately after installation, follow the steps below to makesure that the water system is properly cleaned.1. Turn off the ice maker. Slide the ice maker On/Off control,located on the left-hand side of the ice bin, to the OFF (down)position as shown.NOTE: If your model has a base grille water filter, make sure thewater filter is properly installed so that the Eject button is out. See“Water Filtration System.”2. Turn on the ice maker. Slide the ice maker On/Off control,located on the left-hand side of the ice bin, to the ON (up)position. Please refer to “Ice Maker and Storage Bin” forfurther instructions on the operation of your ice maker.■ Allow 24 hours to produce the first batch of ice.■ Discard the first three batches of ice produced.A.
