Rotate head assembly until sides of thepulley cover are parallel with the sides of thebase.3. Tighten two setscrews (A) with a 5mm hexwrench (provided) until they are snug.Figure 74. Thoroughly clean entire arbor and inside ofchuck with a soft rag and solvent. Anygrease or residue in these areas can causethe pieces to separate and create a safetyhazard as well as damage to the tool.3. Slide arbor up into spindle.4. Firmly push chuck by hand onto taper ofarbor.5. Make sure chuck jaws are opened all theway until they are inside chuck body. Use afew taps from a rubber mallet, or a hammerand a block of wood, against the bottom ofthe chuck to seat the chuck securely ontothe arbor.
