In some areasthe unit must not be connected directly to thepublic drinking water supply. This is to ensurethat there is no feedback of chemicals into thewater supply. Direct connection via a receivertank or backflow preventer, for example, ispermitted.Dirt in the feed water will damage the unit. Toavoid this risk, we recommend fitting a waterfilter. Garden hose must be at least 3/4 inch indiameter. Flow rate of water supply must not fallbelow 3,0 GPM (HD 2.3/15 C Ed), 4,0 GPM(HD 3.0/20 C Ea) (gallons per minute). Flow rate can be determined by running thewater for one minute into an empty 5-galloncontainer. The water supply temperature must notexceed 140°F/60°C. Never use the pressure washer to draw inwater contaminated with solvents, e.g.paint thinners, gasoline, oil, etc. Always prevent debris from being drawninto the unit by using a clean water source.CANADA:WARNINGDo not spray electrical apparatus and wiring.Do not use with flammable liquids and toxicchemicals.Injection hazard: equipment can causeserious injury if the spray penetrates the skin.do not point the gun at anyone or any part ofthe body. Up to 100 ft = 12/3 AWG; Use only extension cords that are intendedfor outdoor use. These extension cords areidentified by the marking “Acceptable foruse with outdoor appliances; store indoorswhile not in use.” Use only extension cords having anelectrical rating not less than the rating ofthe product. Do not use damaged extension cords. Examine extension cord before using andreplace if damaged. Do not abuse extension cord and do notyank on any cord to disconnect. Keep cord away from heat and sharpedges. Always disconnect the extension cord fromthe receptacle before disconnecting theproduct from the extension cord.
