466-BA-defsi-0016 133.5 Net-total weighingsUseful when a mixture of several components will be weighed in a tare cup, andfinally the sum weight of all components weighed in will be needed for direction (net-total, i.e. without the weight of the tare cup).Example:Tare cup on weighing plate, tare on “0“ by pressing the TARE-key.Weigh component n, and tare back to “0” with the ON/M key. The activation of thememory is shown by a triangle on the far left of the display.Weigh component o, by pressing the ON/M key the net total is displayed, this meansthe sum of component n and o. Tare to “0” by pressing the ON/M key.Weigh component p, by pressing the ON/M key the net-total is displayed, this meansthe sum of the components n and o and p.If necessary fill the formula container up to the desirable level. To return to theweighing mode press the TARE key.3.6 Adjusting (CAL)The accuracy of the balance can be controlled and set at any time by means of theenclosed adjusting weight.Consider stable environmental conditions, see ”Important Information”. A shortwarming up time of approx. 1 minute for stabilisation will be useful.Press CAL/MODE key approx. 3 seconds, the exact weight of the adjusting weightwill appear flashing in the display.Press OFF key, “AL 0” will appear.Place the adjusting weight on the centre of the weighing plate.“AL F” will appear somewhat later, and then the automatic return to the normalweighing mode will follow. The weight of the adjusting weight will appear in thedisplay.It is possible to break off the adjusting programme with OFF key.In case of an adjusting error or a wrong adjusting weight “AL E” appears in thedisplay. Press OFF key and repeat the adjusting procedure.Keep the adjusting weight near the balance for daily direction of the balance’saccuracy.
