64Mainmenu - Service menuUpdate Channel ListThe process for updating the channel list via the USB port is identical to that used for updating thesoftware (channel list name: channel.xml).Save Channel List to USBThe receiver offers you the option of saving the channel list you are currently using to a USB stick, so thatyou can recover it later if required.First connect your USB stick to the receiver using a free USB port on the receiver. Now select the “SaveChannel List to USB” selection fi eld and confi rm you want to start saving by pressing the button.During the saving process you will see the “Update via a USB” menu; however you cannot navigatewithin this menu until the saving process has been completed.The function “Update Channel List” allows you to reload the saved channel list to the receiver at a laterdate, should you so require.The channel list “channel.xml” is copied to the USB storage medium using thefollowing folder structure:Main folder: kathreinSubfolder: ∟ ufs946Factory ResetAfter calling up the menu, you will see thefollowing on-screen display:Here you can restore the channel listand the installation settings to the factorysettings. You can use the buttonsto select the components to be restoredto their factory settings. In each case usethe buttons to select “Yes” or “No”.In addition you can select whether, after restoration, the first installation should be started automatically,as with the initial set-up.Once you have defined all the settings, use the buttons to switch to the “Factory Reset”selection field and confirm the start of the search using the button. The components you selectedwill now be reset to their status at the delivery of the unit.
