6 7AssemblyAttaching the Coil to the Lower Shaft:1 Plug the two rubber washers into theholes on either side of the lower shaft.2 Feed the coil cable up through theinside of the lower shaft.3 Place the coil on a flat surface.4 Slide the lower shaft into the bracket ontop of the coil. Ensure that the open sideof the lower shaft faces the ground.Attaching the Lower Shaft to theUpper Shaft:1 Fully unlock the upper shaft camlock byreleasing the lever from the shaft.2 Feed the coil cable up through theinside of the upper shaft.3 Ensuring that the camlock side of theshaft is facing the ground, slide theupper shaft over the lower shaft, so thatthe coil cable appears out the top.5 Insert the bolt through the lower shaftand the bracket on top of the coil.6 Fasten with the nut provided, beingcareful not to damage the thread of thenut by over-tightening. This will need tobe loosened later to adjust the coil to acomfortable detecting angle.7 Ensure that the coil cable appears outthe top of the lower shaft.The coil cable is directly wired into thecoil and is not removable. Any attempt toremove this cable will void your warranty.
