ENGLISH73CONNECTION/INSTALLATION❏ Connecting microphone for BluetoothConnect the microphone (7) to the MIC terminal.• To install the microphone, peel off the adhesivetape, fix it on the installation position, then adjustthe direction of the microphone to face the driver.After installing, fix the microphone cable to the carwith clamps (commercially available).– Clean the installation surface beforehand.7❏ Connecting the GPS antennaConnect the GPS antenna (5) to the GPS terminal.• To install the GPS antenna, fix the metal plate(6) firmly on the dashboard, then place the GPSantenna (5) on the metal plate (6).– Clean the dashboard or other surfacebeforehand.– Install the GPS antenna (5) inside of the car, ashorizontally as possible to allow easy receptionof the GPS satellite signals.– You can bend the metal plate (6) to conform toa curved surface, if necessary.556• Depending on the type of car, reception of theGPS satellite signals might not be possible with aninternal installation.• Install this GPS antenna in an area away from anyantennas that are used with CB radios or satellitetelevisions.• The GPS antenna should be installed at a positionat least 30 cm from mobile phone or othertransmitting antennas.• The above types of communication may interferewith signals from the GPS satellite.• Painting the GPS antenna with (metallic) paintmay cause reduced performance.
