Bluetooth Control41EnglishRegister the Bluetooth deviceIt is necessary to register the Bluetooth audiodevice or smartphone/cell-phone in this unitbefore using the Bluetooth function.You can register up to 10 Bluetooth devices.NOTE• Up to 10 Bluetooth devices can be registered. Ifan attempt is made to register the 11th Bluetoothdevice, the Bluetooth device connected on theearliest date will be deleted to register the 11th one.• This unit is compatible with the Apple EasyPairing function. When an iPod touch oriPhone connected via USB terminal previouslyis connected again, an authentication dialogappears. Performing operation for authenticationon this unit, or iPod touch or iPhone registers thesmartphone as a Bluetooth device.1 Press the [MENU] button.hh Popup menu appears.2 Touch [SETUP].hh SETUP Menu screen appears.3 Touch [Connection].hh Connection Setup screen appears.4 Touch [Device List] on the ConnectionSetup screen.5 Touch [ ] on the Device List screen.hh Bluetooth pairing waiting dialogappears.NOTE• If an Apple CarPlay device is currently connected,the Apple CarPlay device will be disconnected.• When neither Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, nora Bluetooth Hands-Free phone is connected,pressing and holding the [ ] button displaysBluetooth pairing waiting dialog.6 Search for the unit (”DMX****”) from yoursmartphone/cell-phone.Complete steps 6 to 8 within 30 seconds.7 Operate your smartphone/cell-phoneaccording to the displayed messages.● Confirm the request both on thesmartphone/cell-phone.● Input the PIN Code in yoursmartphone/cell-phone.PIN Code is set to “0000” as the default.8 Touch [Yes].When data transmission and connectionhave completed, the Bluetooth connectionicon appears on the screen.
