8282Return to the Top pageAudio Setting UpCar type (DTA) setupYou can setup the car type and speakernetwork, etc.1 Touch [Car Type] in the Audio SETUPscreen.Car Type screen appears.2 Select your car type from the list.NOTE• If your car type is selected, the Dalay TimeAlignment and Equalizer is set automatically (fortiming adjustment of sound output for eachchannel) to have the highest surround effects.Speaker location setup1 In the Car Type screen, touch[Location].Speaker Location screen appears.2 Select the speaker locations using[3].Front SpeakerSelect the location from “Door”/“OnDash”/“Under Dash.”Rear SpeakerSelect the location from “Door”/“Rear Deck”,“2nd Row”/“3rd Row” (Minivan, Minivan (Long).Car type adjustYou can manually set the sound outputtiming of each channel.1 In the Car Type screen, touch [Adjust].Car Type Adjust screen appears.2 Touch the speaker you wish to adjustand set a delay time using [2] and [3]or slider bar.NOTE• Make fine adjustment of the delay time of thespeaker output specified here to have a moresuitable environment for your vehicle.• The settings of the delay time are automaticallyidentified and compensated by specifying thedistances of each speaker from the center of thevehicle interior.1 Set the front and rear positions and the heightof the reference point to the position of theears of the person sitting in the front seat, andset the right and left positions to the center ofthe vehicle interior.2 Measure the distances from the referencepoint to the speakers.3 Calculate the distance difference inaccordance with the farthest speaker.50cm80cm150cm +70cm+0cm+100cm
