( ENGLISH *)This sets the screen size (4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio) according to the connected TV.4:3 LETTER BOXChoose this setting if you want the movie to fill the entire screen of your TV. You won't see part of the picture(particularly the right and left edge).Some disc produced in a wide screen format can t be cropped in this fashion, which means the black barswould appear at the top and the bottom of the screen.4:3 PAN-SCAN16:9 WIDEChoose this setting if you would prefer to see movies in their original aspect ratio. You will see the entire frameof the movie, but it will occupy a smaller portion of the screen. This setting may result in the movie appearingwith black bars at the top and bottom of the screen.Choose this setting if your DVD player is connected to a widescreen TV.AUTOHI-RESN-FLICKERPROGRESSIVEThe picture quality is adjusted automatically.Choose this setting to reduce flicker noise of picture.Choose this setting if your TV is INTERLACE type.Choose this setting if your TV is PROGRESSIVE type.This adjusts the screen quality according to the material being played back.Choose this setting according to the TV mode.If the 7(STOP) key is pressed during 10 seconds, INTERLACE mode will be selected.The items in are the initial set values.INTERLACEENGLISHENGLISHENGLISHENGLISHTV MODEMaximize the resolution of picture.¢
