DVF-S500 (Y)Set Up functionsOperations35Playing back MP3/JPEG files÷ It is not possible to play back folders and files that ex-ceed the maximum limitations of the media.÷ A certain amount of time is required for the player toconfirm the media on which MP3/JPEG files have beenrecorded before playback will commence.MP3 /JPEG media playbackPlayback2 Press Cursor left/right (2¥3) keys on the re-mote to select desired folder and file, then pressthe ENTER key to start playback.To stop playback press the 7 (STOP) key.Skipping filesMAIN UNIT REMOTE4 : To skip backward¢ : To skip forwardNoteNote÷ The SMART NAVI screen will be displayed when an MP3or JPEG disc is set.÷ When JPEG files are displayed, the display is switchedautomatically from one file to the next.The switching speed differs according to the file size.When the play mode is "FOLDER", "FOLDER RE-PEAT" or "REPEAT ONE", skipping to outside thefolder being played is not possible.1 During stop mode, press REPEAT key on theremote to select play mode. Each press switches the play mode.1 DISC REP : Repeat all files on the disc.(The REPEAT ALL indicator light up.)2 DISC SCAN : Playback all files on the disc each 10seconds.
