English | 8719-8. iTunes taggingYou can store the tag of the information about thesong being received, and send it to the connectediPod. You can easily find the song on the iTunesStore according to the tag sent to the iPod.1 Press and hold [R].“TAG” will be indicated on the display when songinformation can be registered.“TAG Storing” is indicated on the display while a tagis being stored in this unit. “TAG Stored” is indicatedon the display after a tag is stored.When your iPod is connected to this unit, “TAGTransferred” is shown on the display and a tag issent to the iPod.Effective use of iTunes• The song corresponding to the tag sent to the iPod isindicated in the playlist (“Tagged”) of the synchronizediTunes.By clicking your desired song in the playlist, you can easilyfind it on the iTunes Store and buy it from the iTunes Store.While ”TAG Storing” is displayed• Do not switch the source or remove the iPod while ”TAGStoring” is indicated.TAG will not be saved and cause a communication error inthis unit.Number of tags that can be stored• A total of fifty song information tags can be stored in thisunit including the song information tags stored by thefunction of the HD Radio tuner function mentioned in <12-6. iTunes tagging> (page 56).When a tag has been sent to the iPod, the tag stored in thisunit is cleared.• The memory usage can be checked by selecting the “TAGMemory” setting mentioned in <19-20. SiriusXM tunersetting> (page 93).Preparation for iTunes tagging• Select “ON” for “Tagging” as mentioned in <19-20. SiriusXMtuner setting> (page 93) when using this function.19-7. Direct access tuning(Function of remote control)You can search for a channel directly by entering itsnumber.1 Press [DIRECT] on the remote control.2 Press the number buttons on the remotecontrol to enter the frequency.3 Press [ENT] on the remote control.Exiting from the Direct access tuning modePress [6] on the remote control.Automatic cancellation• If you operate no button for 10 seconds, the Direct AccessTuning mode is automatically canceled.
