If you pressthe 4 button during that period, the tape rewinds to thebeginning of the previous track and not the one you arelistening to.• The DPSS function "knows" where a track begins by detectingthe blank space preceding it (i.e., the space between tracks).However, when the blank space lasts for less than 4 seconds orcontains noise, DPSS may not operate correctly.
