Wiping the faceplate with a hard clothor using a volatile liquid such as thinner or alcohol mayscratch the surface or erases characters.Lens FoggingWhen you turn on the car heater in cold weather,dew or condensation may form on the lens in thedisc player of the unit. Called lens fogging, thiscondensation on the lens may not allow discs to play.In such a situation, remove the disc and wait for thecondensation to evaporate. If the unit still does notoperate normally after a while, consult your Kenwooddealer.Handling discso Do not touch the recording surface of the disc.o Do not stick tape etc. on the disc, or use a disc withtape stuck on it.o Do not use disc type accessories.6 KVT-514/KVT-534DVDo Clean from the center of the disc and moveoutward.o When removing discs from this unit, pull them outhorizontally.o If the disc center hole or outside rim has burrs,use the disc only after removing the burrs with aballpoint pen etc.Discs that cannot be usedo Discs that are not round cannot be used.o Discs with coloring on the recording surface ordiscs that are dirty cannot be used.o This unit can only play the CDs with ffiI[i!,:iJ iiiThis unit may not correctly play discs which do nothave the mark.o You cannot playa CD-R or CD-RW that has notbeen finalized.
