16 | M-909DVOperationsDisplaying file information (ID3 TAG )While playing a MP3 file containing file information, you candisplay the information by pressing [ON SCREEN] repeatedly.MP3 / WMA disc compatibility with this unit islimited as follows:• Sampling frequency: within 32, 44.1, 48 kHz (MP3), within 24,32, 44.1, 48kHz (WMA)• Bit rate: within 32 - 320kbps (MP3), 48 - 192kbps (WMA)• The unit cannot read an MP3/WMA fi le that has a file extensionother than “.mp3” / “.wma”.• CD-R physical format should be ISO 9660• If you record MP3 / WMA files using software that cannotcreate a file system (eg. Direct-CD) it is impossible to playbackMP3 / WMA files. We recommend that you use Easy-CD Creator,which creates an ISO 9660 file system.• File names should have a maximum of 8 letters and mustincorporate an .mp3 or .wma extension.• They should not contain special letters such as / ? * : “ < > l etc.• The total number of files on the disc should be less than 999.• This unit requires discs and recordings to meet certaintechnical standards in order to achieve optimal playbackquality. Pre-recorded DVDs are automatically set to thesestandards. To read the disc’s contents.If you don’t see an onscreen display after several minutes,some of the files may be too large — reduce the resolution ofthe JPEG files to less than 2M pixels as 2760 x 2048 pixels andburn another disc.• The total number of files and folders on the disc should be lessthan 999.• Some discs may not operate due to a different recordingformat or the condition of disc.• Ensure that all the selected fi les have the “.jpg” extensionswhen copying into the CD layout.• If the files have “.jpe” or “.jpeg” extensions, please rename themas “.jpg” fi le.• File names without “.jpg” extension will not be able to be readby this unit.
