The track numbersafter the combined tracks are adjusted au-tomatically.IImage of combining tracksRemote control only1 Select the MD input and in-sert a recordable MD.2 Press the 4 or ¢ key re-peatedly to select the earliertrack number to be com-bined.The track will be played back.Track No. selected in step 23 Press the TRACK EDIT key re-peatedly until "3 COMBINE?" is displayed, then press theSET key.If "X COMBINE" is displayed, the subsequentoperation will not be available (see page 53).4 Press the 4 or ¢ key re-peatedly to select the latertrack number to be com-bined.5 Press the SET key.6 Press the ENTER key.7 Eject the MD."WRITING" is displayed.BlinksTo cancel the COMBINE operation inthe middle:Press the TRACK EDIT key any time beforethe end of step 5.Editing can be canceled provided that it is at-tempted before "WRITING" is displayed.
