To unlock the transceiver, enter the correctpassword.1 Press the button programmed as [Transceiver Password] to enter TransceiverPassword Mode.• Alternatively, press the button programmed as [Menu] to enter TransceiverPassword Mode using the Menu Mode.• If a password has been registered and the [Transceiver Password]function has not been programmed to a button or configured to the menu,the transceiver enters Transceiver Password Mode when the power isturned on.2 Enter a number using the [ and [ C> ] buttons.3 Press the [ S ] button to accept the number.4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 to enter the entire password.• Press the [ A ] button to delete an incorrectly entered number. Press andhold the [ A ] button to delete all numbers.5 Press the [ S ] button to confirm the entry.• If you enter an incorrect password, an error tone sounds and thetransceiver remains locked, the transceiver will return to "PASSWORD"display.• The password can contain a maximum of 6 digits.
