29NXDNNXDN is a general term for the NXDN wireless communication protocol whichuses 4 Level FSK. Various digital communications, including individual and groupvoice communications are possible.SELCALL MODE (SELECTIVE CALLING)The basic operation is the same as Selcall in FleetSync.Step 1: Set up your own ID (ID List Setting mode for Selcall)1 With the transceiver power OFF, press and hold whileturning the transceiver power ON.• A beep will sound and the transceiver will enter ID ListSetting mode.• It can not be set unless editing in ID List Setting mode ispermitted on the FPU.2 Press the or button to select a list ID number.3 Press the Menu button then press the or button toselect List ID type.• List ID type has the following settings.“ ” represents an Individual Call ID.“ ” represents a Group Call ID.“ ” represents a ALL Group Call ID.“ ” represents your own ID number.• The default own ID setting is List 01.• When setting up your own ID, make sure that each member within yourgroup sets up a unique ID number for their own ID. If an own ID numberis duplicated, that transceiver cannot perform individual calls to othertransceivers with the same own ID.4 Press the Menu button to confirm the selection.5 Press the PTT switch or the Side button to exit ID List Settingmode.List ID numberList ID type
