44ADVANCED OPERATIONSYour transceiver operations vary according to the functionsthat your dealer has programmed onto the transceiver keys.Following is brief overview of the programmable functions.Refer to those functions which have been programmed ontoyour transceiver.• 2-tone (2TN)Press this key to display the list of 2-tone codes that hasbeen pre-stored in your transceiver memory. While viewingthe 2-tone list, press the Side 2 and Side 3 keys to selectyour desired code, then press the PTT switch to make thecall.• Autodial (AD)Refer to “AUTODIAL” on page 33.• AUX (AUX)Press this key to toggle the auxiliary port ON and OFF.When toggled on, the optional feature connected to theauxiliary port will be activated, and on K2/K3/K5/K6/K7model transceivers, the icon will appear on the display.• Battery Status (BAT)Press this key to view the battery power status. Batterystatus is represented by the number of times the LEDindicator flashes red. Five flashes represents high power,4 represents medium power, 3 represents low power, and2 represents very low power. If the LED flashes red only time, recharge or replace your battery pack immediately.When the Low Battery Warning function is active {page 52}and the battery power is low, this key will not operate.• Channel Down (CHt)Press this key to decrease the channel number {page 9}.• Channel Recall (RCL)Press this key during Scan to return to the last called zoneand channel.
