Use groundedwriststraps and mats when performing any service to this instrument.CAUTION Damage can occur to electronic components if you remove or replaceassemblies when the instrument is on or when the power cable is connected.Do not attempt to remove or install an assembly with the instrument on orwith the power cable connected.WARNING Hazardous voltages exist on the power supply. To avoid electrical shock,disconnect power from the instrument before performing any repair, removal,or replacement procedures. After disconnecting the power, wait at least sixminutes for the capacitors on the power supply board to discharge beforeservicing the instrument.NOTE Some procedures in this chapter require you to remove other assemblies ofthe instrument, but do not provide complete instructions to remove theseother assemblies.
