TERMOROSA READY - DSA24 7097503 - IT - EN - DE - FRB - AUTOMATIC Thermostat (placed in the upper right-hand part of the back Picture 6 at page 43 pos. C)The thermostat has the task of automatically increasing or decreasing combustion.Dependent on the position chosen, the thermostat will act on the valve which regulates the intake of air into the furnace, placed on theback of the cooker. Turn it in a clockwise direction from 0 to 5 to make up the fire and in an anti-clockwise direction to reduce combustion. As this is an extremely precise device, it is advisable to turn it carefully and never force the knob.C - FLUE GAS Register (Picture 6 at page 43 Pos.D)(Conversion from the cooker HOTPLATE USE – OVEN USE function to the cooker HEATING function)On the right of the front of the stove/cooker, between the protection rail and the oven door, is the smoke-register control lever, recognisableas a bronze knob. When the lever is pushed towards the back of the stove/cooker, the combustion gases flow above the oven directlytowards the exhaust stub (cooker function – PLATE USE); when the lever is pulled towards you, the combustion gases flow all aroundthe oven, so the internal temperature increases evenly (cooker – oven cooking and heating – OVEN USE).To ignite the flame follow the instructions below (see Cap. IGNITION) :• Open the ignition register to aid flue gas exhaust. Position the register (any butterfly valve placed on the flue gas exhaust pipe mustalso be opened).• Position the thermostat knob on position 5 (maximum opening).• Open the primary air register (placed on the ash tray).• After having started the fire with small pieces of wood and waited until it is well lit, adjust the thermostat to the positions correspondingto the desired heat (0÷5).• Bring the flue gas register to the oven position.• Close the any butterfly valve placed on the flue gas exhaust pipe must also be opened. The register regulation necessary in order to obtain nominal calorific output is the following (see Cap. TECHNICAL DATA):Fuel PRIMARY air SECONDARY air TERTIARY airWOOD CLOSED OPEN Pre-adjusted5.1. DIGITAL ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER FOR WATER HEATERS5.1.1. ELECTRIC CONNECTIONThe control unit and the plant must be installed and connected by authorized personnel according to the standards in force.Connect the feeding cable of the switchboard with an electronic bipolar switch respecting at least a 3 mm distance between the contacts(power supply 230V~ 50 / 60Hz, it is necessary to provide for the correct connection to the grounding plant).WARNING: The COMMAND must be connected to the mains with a differential line cut-off switch according to the regulations in force.Correct operation of the appliance is only guaranteed for pumps and valves approved by La Nordica. La Nordica is not liable for anyimproper use of the appliance.WARNING: In any case, the power cable has to be replaced by authorised personnel ONLY (entitled by La Nordica):authorised dealers and/or fitter.5.1.2. OPERATIONThis digital electronic device controls the activation of two circulating pumps and see chapter EXTRA FUNCTIONS.The digital controller, as well as controlling the water temperature, also manages any blockage of the pumps in the thermocooker.Correct operation of the appliance is only guaranteed for pumps and valves approved by La Nordica. La Nordica is not liable for anyimproper use of the appliance. The internal menu can be used to:• set the language used to show information on the display (IT-EN-DE-FR);• set the temperature in °C o °F;• enable or disable the alarm buzzer (Buzzer);• change display brightness;• access the technical menu.WARNING: the parameters in the technical menu should never be modified. Such operation must only be performed by an authorised LaNORDICA S.p.A. Service Centre.La NORDICA S.p.A. is not liable for product malfunctions due to the parameters in the technical menu being modified withoutauthorisation.5.1.3. HOT WATER TEMPERATUREThe water temperature is shown on the display .NOTE: The circulating pump activation temperature is a factory setting. In the event of excess water temperature the device warns the user with an indicator light and an audible signal; the latter may be enabledor disabled via the BUZZER function in the MENU.See EXCESS TEMPERATURE ALARM.5.1.4. FROST PROTECTIONThe frost protection function is always active on the device and acts by starting the pump when the temperature measured by the probe isless than 5°C / 41°F (fixed threshold). When the frost protection function is active, LED 1 Danger comes on and the message “FROST PROTECTION” is shown on the display.
