10Volume ControlPress the VOLUME + / - button to change the volume level. The CD player has a hearing protection to limit the volumelevel and give you a warning when it is too high. When prompted, you have to press the ENTER button to confirm thatyou want to increase the volume, then press the VOLUME + button can further increase the volume level.Adjusting the DAB / FM ReceptionThe earphone wire serves as the antenna. Therefore fully extend the earphone wire and place the unit to a location toensure a good DAB / FM reception.DAB OPERATIONThe first time in the DAB mode, it will automatically scan for available DAB stations. Wait until the scanning hasfinished. The display will show the scanning progress.Auto Scan1. Turn on the unit in DAB mode.2. Press and hold the SCAN button to start auto-scanning the available stations.Manual ScanBy using the manual scan operation, it can help you to adjust the unit position or search station that is missed whileauto scanning.1. Turn on the unit in DAB mode.2. Press and hold the MENU button to access the menu control.3. Press the or button until “Manual tune” is highlighted and then press the ENTER button.4. Press the or button to select the desired channel (5A-13F).5. Press the ENTER button to confirm. Adjust the unit position for the best reception if necessary.6. To select another channel (5A-13F), press the or button and then press the ENTER button to confirm.7. When the station is found, press the ENTER button to select.8. To quit manual scan, press the MENU button repeatedly.TuningAfter scanning all the available DAB stations, press the or button to display and navigate the station list. Thenpress the ENTER button to tune to this station within a few seconds.Storing DAB PresetsYou can save up to 30 DAB stations.1. Tune to the station you wish to store.2. Press and hold the PRESET button, “Preset Store” will be displayed.3. Press the or button to select the desired preset number to store.4. Press the ENTER button to store.Recall Stored DAB Presets1.
