16SYSTEM MENU OPERATIONPress and hold the MENU button to access the menu control. Press the or button until “System” is highlightedand then press the ENTER button. System menu will be shown as below. Press the or button for differentselections as shown below. Then press the ENTER knob to setup. To quit the menu control, press the MENU buttonrepeatedly. Sleep Time Backlight Language Factory Reset SW versionSleep FunctionYou can set the sleep timer function among off, 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 minutes.1. During the sleep timer count down, there is amoon icon shown on the screen display bottom area.2. When the sleep timer is zero, the unit will be turned offautomatically.3. To cancel the sleep function, press and hold theSTANDBY button or set the sleep timer to off.Time SetupThis setup allows you to setup 4 different display modes. They are: Set Time/Date Auto update Set 12/24 hour Set date formatSet Time/Date1. Turn on the unit in DAB mode or FM mode.2. Press and hold the MENU button to access the menu control.3. Press the or button until “System” is highlighted and then press the ENTER button.4. Press the or button until “Time” is highlighted and then press the ENTER button.5. Press the or button until “Set Time/Date” is highlighted and then press the ENTER button.6. Hour digits will be flashed. Press the or button to change to hour value and then press the ENTER button.7. Minute digits will be flashed. Press the or button to change to minute value and then press the ENTERbutton.8. If 12 hour display is set before, “AM or “PM” will be flashed. Press the or button to set AM or PM andthen press the ENTER button to confirm.9. Then the unit will request to set the date. Follow the similar procedures as listed above to complete the setup ofday, month and year.10. Press the MENU button repeatedly to exit the menu control.
