Dew Point Temperature reflects the point atwhich condensation and evaporation are equal.Dew Point Temperature is the accurate measure of the quantity of water vapor in the air. DewPoint Temperature does not change with air temperature changes. It only changes withmoisture content changes with barometric pressure stable.Note: Dew Point is lower than the actual temperature.Note: A Frost Point occurs when the Dew Point Temperature is below freezing.RELATIVE HUMIDITYRelative humidity is how close the air is to saturation (how much moisture the air can hold). Ona warm day, more water can evaporate as there is more thermal energy to do the work ofevaporation. Generally the higher the temperature the lower the RH as more evaporation takesplace. The RH may be low and you can still have condensation when at the Dew PointTemperature.WIND CHILL-EQUIVALENT TEMPERATUREA fictional temperature that is felt by human beings under certain conditions instead of themeasured temperature and which can be taken into account during low temperatures. For LaCrosse Technology Products these conditions are a Temperature below 40 degrees Fahrenheitand a Wind velocity above 5 mph.WIND GUSTA wind gust is a sudden, brief increase in the speed of the wind (less than 20 seconds) followedby a lull. This is different from a sustained wind.
