Active DirectoryThis feature allows you to join the 5big Network 2 to a Windowsdomain. Once connected, existing users/passwords in the domainare respected by the 5big Network 2 and treated exactly as if theywere created in the Dashboard. You can use the Users page to as-sign domain users access to the 5big Network 2’s shares.To connect to a share, click the Domain box, then fill in the FullyQualified Domain Name, Admin login, and Admin password. Formore complex network configurations, click the Advanced Criteriaarrow and fill in the Server name and IP address (Fig. 37).To leave the domain, click the Leave button, then authenticate byinputting admin username and password (Fig. 38).Once connected, you should see the domain’s associated users inthe Dashboard’s Users page (these users will be identified by theword Domain in place of password).Fig. 37Fig. 38
