Start the engine and engage the hydraulic pump.2. Using the joystick, extend the automated arm to get better access to the hopper area.3. Turn OFF the hydraulic pump and the engine.4. Lock out and tag out the vehicle (see Locking Out and Tagging Out the Vehicle on page 12).5. Remove both side rail shields (see Figure 3-48).6 bolts are to be removed to take off the right-hand side rail shield.5 bolts are to be removed to take off the left-hand side rail shield.Danger!
