Alwaysupshift when necessary whileusing DSC.DSC allows the automatictransmission to be shifted similar toa manual transmission. To use theDSC feature:With Selective Ride Control1. Move the shift lever fromD (Drive) to M/S (Manual Mode/Sport Mode).The vehicle will be in SportMode. The vehicle will remain inSport Mode until the shift lever ismoved back to the D (Drive)position. The gear indicator inthe instrument cluster will stilldisplay an S for Sport Mode, andthe SPORT MODE ON messagewill display momentarily. SeeRide Control System Messageson page 5-42. When in SportMode, the vehicle will still shiftautomatically, but chassis tuningis modified. See Selective RideControl on page 9-36. If youpress the +/− switch on the sideof the shift lever, thetransmission will enter ManualMode, and the DIC gearindicator will change to an Mfollowed by a numberrepresenting the gear the vehicleis currently in.2. In Manual Mode, press the+ (Plus) end of the switch on theside of the shift lever to upshift,or the − (Minus) end todownshift.Without Selective Ride Control1.
