Wipe oil fromdipstick and screw dipstick in without tightening. Unscrewdipstick and check oil on dipstick. If below bottom levelmark, add recommended gear lube through dipstick holeuntil oil reaches top mark on dipstick. Reinstall venteddipstick and tighten.Method 2: Remove side oil plug (#2). If oil is below bottomof plug hole, add recommended gear lube through topdipstick hole until oil flows out of side plug hole. Reinstalland tighten side oil plug (#2) and vented dipstick (#1).Type of Lubrication: 80-90W EP Gear LubeQuantity = Fill until oil reaches top mark on dipstick orbegins to flows out side plug hole in gearbox.IMPORTANT: Do not overfill gearbox with oil! Oil willexpand when hot! Make sure cutter is level and oil iscool before checking oil level.Divider BoxInstructions: Remove oil level plug.
