The computer does not have apersonal firewall activated.SYSTEM 2 isOff / SYSTEM 3is OnThe UBox obtained an IPaddress using Zeroconfigand does not show anyusers connected to theUBox.Verify the following: The computer trying to communicatewith the UBox is also on the Zeroconfigsubnet. The computer has the current UBoxsoftware installed. The UBox software has the UDP portset correctly (default 10010). The computer does not have apersonal firewall activated.Status 2 is Off /Status 3 is OffThis is normal andindicates that the UBoxhardware is working. It hasobtained an IP address andhas detected users (clientcomputers) connected to it.USB Status Lights: 1-4 on the UBox 4100 and 1 & 2 on the UBox2100Locate the green light under USB that corresponds to the USB port to which yourUSB device (e.g., printer or scanner) is connected.Status Condition SuggestionsOff The UBox does not have power. Check the UBox's power supply and itsconnection to an outlet.Blinking Blinking may indicate the UBoxhardware does not support yourUSB device or is havingproblems communicating withthe device.Currently, the UBox does not supportisochronous USB devices (e.g., webcamsand USB speakers).If you have a USB device that is notisochronous, please check the Lantronixweb site or contact Lantronix TechnicalSupport.Note: While most USB devices work withthe UBox, future software updates fromLantronix will support certain incompatibleUSB device.
