In order to get connection with an apartment from an external panel atthe main entrance one should first of all select building number and then apartmentnumber. This numbering mode allows repeating apartment numbers in differentbuildings. The following operations should be made in order to activate this mode: In electronic cassette for subordinate entrance set parameter [nbL] (block num-ber) in procedure P-1 to value higher then zero. (see page 30). To get con-nection with any apartment in this staircase the apartment number should bepreceded by set number. The operation should be repeated for other staircases (buildings). Values [nbL]can be repeated in subordinate systems provided that these systems operatewith other logical numbers of uniphones. In electronic cassette for main entrance set the value of parameter [NbL] inprocedure P-2 to 1 (see page 32).4.5 Range of operated numbersIn numbers entry phone the range of operated numbers can be limited. (see page30). In default setting the operation of all apartment numbers is included. If therange is limited, selection of a number outside the set range will result in displayedmessage [OFF].Limiting is set for physical not logical numbers!Limiting of the range should be set especially in electronic cassettes for subor-dinate entrances (multi-entrance system with entrance hierarchy) because leavingdefault range setting may hamper using or make impossible the activation of thewhole entry phone system.Default set range 1...240.11
