This ensuresthat maximum benefit is drawn from the productand questions from users can be resolved whenthey arise.Above all, comply with the warnings and safetyinstructions and dispose of the packagingmaterial properly.Additional information for H7.2 with “TEST IT”functionYour LED LENSER H7.2 headlamp is packagedwith a “TEST IT” function (item no. 7397). Thisallows users to test the brightness while theproduct is still in the package. For testing,simply push the yellow “TEST IT” button on thefront of the package. When testing, please donot look directly into the light.The “TEST IT” button is connected to the batteryhousing of the H7.2 via two wires and should beremoved prior to use.To remove the “TEST IT” button and wires,open the battery box and remove the 4 x AAAbatteries (see also “Changing Alkaline Batteries”further below). Separate the two “TEST IT”button wires from the battery housing by pullingon each wire until it releases from the batteryhousing. Insert the 1xLi-ion battery pack or 4x AAA battery and noting the correct polarity.Close the battery box. Turning it ON and OFFThere are two switches on the H7.2. The frontswitch is located in the upper part of theheadlamp housing. This button is used to turnthe H7.2 ON/OFF. It is also used to activate thevarious Light Programs, Lighting Functions (seeSection 5.1) and to active the “transport lock”function (see Section 6).The Multi-function “Wheel” switch is locatedon the backside in the upper part of the batterybox. This allows you to adjust the brightnessand flash rate infinitely and to change the lightmodes (see Section 5.1).3. FocusIn the front, narrower region of the headlamphousing is the reflector lens through whichthe light of the LED is focusable. The reflectorlens is held by a plastic ring. You can rotatethat plastic ring using two fingers, and thusadjust the focus quickly and easily. This is ourpatented Speed Focus system, which allows theadjustment of the light beam’s focus.You also can adjust the hinge of the headlamp,depending on whether you want to illuminatean area in the distance or in front of you. Forthis, you simply tilt the part of the head lampcontaining the reflector lens and the LED.4. Smart Light Technology (SLT)Smart Light Technology (SLT) is a program thatconsists of computer optimized microcontrollerswhich allows our products to have variouslighting functions. The H7.2 is equipped withthis technology and is therefore able to usevarious Light Programs and Functions (seeSection 5) with an interface that is simple anduser friendly. By pressing the front switch onthe lamp head you can activate the followinglight functions: On (Power) – Off, Low Power,Boost and Signal. With the Multi-function “Wheel”switch on the back, the light intensity (downto 5 lm) and flashing rate (1–24Hz) is infinitelyadjustable by easily rotating the switch. Bypressing the “Multi-function Wheel” switch youcan change the light mode.5. Light Programs and Light FunctionsThe H7.2 is equipped with one LED (LightEmitting Diode). The LED is very strong andideal for normal use. For example if the TurningFocus or the adjustment of the angle of lightbeam to the horizontal should be used.The boost mode of H7.2 can be turned on whenthe flashlight is off and then pushing the frontswitch for approx. 5 seconds. Release the switchwhen the boosted light is on, otherwise theproduct will enter “transport lock” (see Section6).5.1 Light ProgramsIn H7.2, there are three different modes (EasyLow, Easy Power, Signal). The default mode isthe Easy Low mode.When the product is off, press the “Multi-functionWheel” switch on the back for 5 second. It willachieve transition mode. Then the LED will blinkonce to indicate that it is mode one; then blinktwice for mode two; and finally blink thrice formode three.a) Light Mode one - Easy Low: when the productis off, firmly press the front button until it blinksonce. The LED will glow at its lowest brightness(light function: dim light). Two times touch tothe button on top of the lamp within 1 secondwill turn on the lamp to its full brightness (lightfunction: strong light), and third touch will turnthe lamp off.b) Light Mode two - Easy Power: when theproduct is off, firmly press the front button untilit blinks twice. The LED will glow at its fullestbrightness (light function: strong light). Twotimes touch to the button on top of the lampwithin 1 second will turn on the lamp to itslowest brightness (light function: dim), and thirdtouch will turn the lamp off.c) Light Mode three - Signal: when the productis off, firmly press the front button until it blinksthrice. The LED will glows with full brightness(light function: strong light). Two times touch tothe button on top of the lamp within 1 secondwill start the strobe (12 Hz), and a third touchwill turn the lamp off. The speed at which thestrobe will blink can be adjusted by turning theknob on the battery box.When the flashlight is on, rotate the “Multi-function Wheel” switch on the back to adjust the |
