Otherwise, you may notrecord both picture and sound.• Programs that are copyrightprotected may not record clearly.• You cannot record a DVD onto avideotape using thisTV/VCR/DVD.• You can use this connection tosimply view tapes playing on acamcorder or VCR at theTV/VCR/DVD. Follow steps 1, 2,and 4 for connections and AUXsetup.Then play the tape on thecamcorder, etc., as usual.1 Make the connections shown above. Use audioand video cables (not supplied). Connect thesource unit (VCR or Camcorder) to a powersource after connections are made.2 The VCR or Camcorder will play your tape. Insert aprerecorded tape in the source unit. If playbegins, press STOP on the VCR or Camcorder.3 The TV/VCR/DVD will record your tape. Insert ablank videotape in the cassette compartmentof the TV/VCR/DVD. Make sure the tape’s recordtab is intact and the TV/VCR/DVD power is on.4 Point the TV/VCR/DVD remote control at theTV/VCR/DVD. Press SELECT or CH. o/p untilAUX appears on the screen. The TV/VCR/DVD isnow in Line Input or Auxiliary mode.5 Press SPEED until the desired tape speed (SPor SLP) appears in the lower left corner of thescreen.6 Press PLAY on the VCR or Camcorder andREC(ord)/OTR on your TV/VCR/DVD at thesame time.
