46 Setting V-Chip (cont’d)MPAA Rating SettingsYou can block TV channel viewing according to the MotionPicture Association ratings. To do so, follow these steps.1 Press SETUP.2 Press or to select V-CHIP SET UP.Then, press ENTER.3 Press the Number buttons to enter the four-digit access code. (The default code is 0000 if youhave not set up your own code yet or if the powerhas failed.)4 Press or to select MPAA RATING.Then, press ENTER.5 Press or to select the level at which youwant to block viewing. Then, press ENTER toselect BLOCK or VIEW.When you Block a category, higher ratings turn toBLOCK automatically.
