15FACTORY CHANNEL RESETEMERGENCY ALERTUsing the Installation MenuThis menu is present only for digital mode.Emergency Alert allows you to display or discardemergency alert for Low or Medium priority.1 Press the MENU button on the remote controlto show the onscreen menu.2 Press the CURSOR DOWNwbutton to scrollthrough the onscreen menu until the wordInstall is highlighted.3 Press the CURSOR RIGHTubutton todisplay the Install menu features.4 Press the CURSOR DOWNwbutton to scrollthrough the Install features until the wordEmerg Alert is highlighted.5 Press the CURSOR RIGHTubutton todisplay the Emergency Alert options.6 Using the CURSOR UPv or DOWNwbutton,to scroll the menu to highlight the Low or Mediumpriority7 Now use the CURSOR RIGHTubutton totoggle between Present or Discard. If Present isselected, the TV will display the alert of that priority.If Discard is selected, the TV will not display thealert of that priority.8 When finished, press the EXIT/INFO buttonto remove the menu from the TV’s screen.* Emergency Alert may not be visible if nobroadcast is received.broadcast is received.This menu is present only for digital mode.Factory Channel Reset feature allows you to erasethe contents of the master, user and favorite chan-nel lists.
