SOUND M ENU CONTROLSUsing the Sound Menu ControlT o adjust your TV sound, select and use the SoundMenu Controls listed below:1 Treble: Press the CURSOR ˙ or ˝buttons toadjust the control. The control will enhance thehigh frequency sounds.2 Bass: Press the CURSOR ˙ or ˝buttons toadjust the control. The control will enhance thelow frequency sounds.3 Balance: Press the CURSOR ˙ or ˝buttonsto adjust the level of sound coming from the leftand right speakers.4 AVL: (Auto Volume Leveler) Press the CURSOR˙ or ˝buttons to turn the control On or Off.When On, AVL will level out the sound beingheard when sudden changes in volume occurduring commercial breaks or channel changes.5 Incr. Surround: Press the CURSOR ˙ or ˝buttons to select between Dolby Virtual or Stereosettings (If Stereo), or select Spatial or Mono (IfMono).6 SAP: Press the CURSOR ˙ or ˝buttons totoggle this control to On or Off. SAP is shortfor Secondary Audio Programming and is sent as athird audio channel, a SAP signal can be heardapart from the current TV program sound.Note: IfSAP is not present on a selected show No SAPwill appear on the screen.7 Stereo: Press the CURSOR ˙ or ˝buttons toselect between Stereo or Mono settings. Note: IfStereo is not present on a selected show and theTV is placed in the Stereo mode, the sound comingfrom the TV will remain in the Mono mode.8 Alt Audio Program: Press the CURSOR ˙to select the appropriate language.9 Bass Boost: Press the CURSOR ˙ or˝buttonsto toggle this control to On or Off. The Bass Boostcontrol allows you to increase the low-frequencyrange of the TV’s sound.
