CAT 5 cables for parallel stacking. Thesecables must be used when installing the router. They are like standard CAT 5cables, but are rated for 300 VAC to allow their use with the MS-PAE inverters, and they meet the electrical safety code requirements. To connect the CAT 5 parallel stacking cables:Connect a CAT 5 cable to the Stack Port on every inverter installed inparallel (see Figure 2-5).Route the inverter-connected CAT 5 cables from each inverter/chargerto your router. Depending on your particular setup, the cables may needto be routed through walls or the MP Panel enclosure system.Connect each CAT 5 cable to its respective CAT 5 port on the router (MA,SL1, SL2, and SL3 ports for the appropriate number of inverters installedin parallel). See Figure 2-6.Info: At least one CAT 5 cable must be plugged into the router’sMA port in order for the router to operate any inverters.1.2.3.Connect the CAT 5 cable to thetop port marked “Stack Port .”Connect the communication cableto the port marked “Remote.”
