They aredouble-insulated in accordance with European Standardand can, therefore, also be used from sockets withoutearth wire.For public low-voltage distribution systems ofbetween 220 V and 250 VSwitching operations of electric apparatus cause voltagefluctuations. The operation of this device under unfavor-able mains conditions can have adverse effects to theoperation of other equipment. With a mains impedanceequal or less than 0.42 Ohms it can be presumed thatthere will be no negative effects.The mains socket used for this device must be protectedwith a fuse or protective circuit breaker having slow trip-ping characteristics.SAFETY INSTRUCTIONSWarning! Don’t use tools for pur-poses not intended; for example, don’t use circu-lar saw for cutting tree limbs or logs.8. Dress properlyDo not wear loose clothing or jewelry. They canbe caught in moving parts. Rubber gloves andnon-skid footwear are recommendemd whenworking outdoors. Wear protective hair coveringto contain long hair.9. Use safety glasses and hearing protectionAlso use face or dust mask if cutting operation isdusty.10. Connect dust extraction equipmentIf devices are provided for the connection of dustextraction and collection facilities, ensure theseare connected and properly used.11. Don’t abuse cordNever carry tool by cord or yank it to disconnect itfrom receptacle. Keep cord from heat, oil andsharp edges.12. Secure workUse clamps or a vise to hold work. It’s safer thanusing your hand and it frees both hands to oper-ate tool.13. Don’t overreachKeep proper footing and balance at all times.14. Maintain tools with careKeep tools sharp and clean for better and saferperformance. Follow instructions for lubricatingand changing accessories. Inspect tool cordsperiodically and, if damaged, have repaired byauthorized service facility. Inspect extensioncords periodically and replace if damaged. Keephandles dry, clean and free from oil and grease. |
