7For cutting circles between 121 mm (4 - 3/4") and 221mm (8 - 11/16") in radius.12345006620NOTE:• Circles between 172 mm (6-3/4") and 186 mm(7-5/16") in radius cannot be cut using this guide.Align the center hole in the straight guide with the centerof the circle to be cut. Drive a nail less than 6 mm (1/4")in diameter into the center hole to secure the straightguide Pivot the tool around the nail in clockwisedirection.123006625006626Trimming, curved cuts in veneers for furniture and thelike can be done easily with the trimmer guide. Theguide roller rides the curve and assures a fine cut.Install the trimmer guide on the tool base with the clampscrew (A). Loosen the clamp screw (B) and adjust thedistance between the bit and the trimmer guide byturning the adjusting screw (1 mm (3/64") per turn). Atthe desired distance, tighten the clamp screw (B) tosecure the trimmer guide in place.1234006621When cutting, move the tool with the guide roller ridingthe side of the workpiece.123001998MAINTENANCECAUTION:• Always be sure that the tool is switched off andunplugged before attempting to perform inspectionor maintenance.• Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner, alcohol orthe like. Discoloration, deformation or cracks mayresult.Replacing carbon brushes1001145Remove and check the carbon brushes regularly.Replace when they wear down to the limit mark. Keepthe carbon brushes clean and free to slip in the holders.Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the sametime.
