The battery willbe damaged or a battery short-circuit could result.To remove the cover, push it in the direction of the arrowwhile pressing down on the “OPEN” portion of the cover.Withdraw the built-in battery halfway. Disconnect the twolead wires from the battery by pulling them from the bat-tery terminals. Then withdraw the battery completely.To prevent a battery short-circuit, tape the battery termi-nals or put the battery into a plastics bag.
