But if it is off, you can adjust it as thefollowing procedure.Make sure all levers and screws are tightened. Slightlyloosen the screw as illustrated. While opening the lowerguard, move the rear of base so that the distance A and Bare equal. After adjusting, tighten the screw. Make a testcut to get a correct parallelism.Replacing carbon brushes (Fig. 25)Remove and check the carbon brushes regularly. Replacewhen they wear down to the limit mark. Keep the carbonbrushes clean and free to slip in the holders. Both carbonbrushes should be replaced at the same time. Use onlyidentical carbon brushes. (Fig. 26)Use a screwdriver to remove the brush holder caps.
