4 ENGLISHService1. Have your power tool serviced by a qualifiedrepair person using only identical replacementparts. This will ensure that the safety of the powertool is maintained.2. Never service damaged battery packs. Serviceof battery packs should only be performed by themanufacturer or authorized service providers.3. Follow instruction for lubricating and chang-ing accessories.4. Do not modify or attempt to repair the appli-ance or the battery pack except as indicated inthe instructions for use and care.CORDLESS ROTARY HAMMERSAFETY WARNINGS1. Wear ear protectors. Exposure to noise cancause hearing loss.2. Use auxiliary handle(s), if supplied with thetool. Loss of control can cause personal injury.3. Hold power tool by insulated gripping sur-faces, when performing an operation wherethe cutting accessory may contact hiddenwiring. Cutting accessory contacting a "live"wire may make exposed metal parts of the powertool "live" and could give the operator an electricshock.4. Wear a hard hat (safety helmet), safety glassesand/or face shield. Ordinary eye or sun glassesare NOT safety glasses. It is also highly recom-mended that you wear a dust mask and thicklypadded gloves.5. Be sure the bit is secured in place beforeoperation.6. Under normal operation, the tool is designedto produce vibration. The screws can comeloose easily, causing a breakdown or accident.Check tightness of screws carefully beforeoperation.7. In cold weather or when the tool has not beenused for a long time, let the tool warm up fora while by operating it under no load. Thiswill loosen up the lubrication. Without properwarm-up, hammering operation is difficult.8. Always be sure you have a firm footing. Besure no one is below when using the tool inhigh locations.9. Hold the tool firmly with both hands.10. Keep hands away from moving parts.11. Do not leave the tool running. Operate the toolonly when hand-held.12. Do not point the tool at any one in the areawhen operating. The bit could fly out andinjure someone seriously.13. Do not touch the bit, parts close to the bit, orworkpiece immediately after operation; theymay be extremely hot and could burn yourskin.14. Some material contains chemicals which maybe toxic. Take caution to prevent dust inhala-tion and skin contact. Follow material suppliersafety data.15. If operating time has become excessivelyshorter, stop operating immediately. It mayresult in a risk of overheating, possible burnsand even an explosion.4. If electrolyte gets into your eyes, rinse themout with clear water and seek medical atten-tion right away. It may result in loss of youreyesight.5. Do not short the battery cartridge:(1) Do not touch the terminals with any con-ductive material.(2) Avoid storing battery cartridge in a con-tainer with other metal objects such asnails, coins, etc.(3) Do not expose battery cartridge to wateror rain.A battery short can cause a large currentflow, overheating, possible burns and even abreakdown.6. Do not store the tool and battery cartridge inlocations where the temperature may reach orexceed 50 °C (122 °F).7. Do not incinerate the battery cartridge even ifit is severely damaged or is completely wornout. The battery cartridge can explode in a fire. |
