If the mower starts to vibrate abnormally(check immediately)- inspect for damage,- replace or repair any damaged parts,- check for and tighten any loose parts.26 . Never direct discharged material towardanyone. Avoid discharging material against awall or obstruction. Material may ricochet backtowardtheoperator. When you are compelledtobackthemowerfromafenceorothersimilarobstruction,lookdownandbehindbeforeandwhilemovingbackwards.28 . Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight tobe sure the equipment is in safe workingcondition.5. Check the grass basket frequently for wear ordeterioration. Be careful during adjustment of the mowerto prevent entrapment of the fingers betZeenmoving blades and fixed parts of the moZer.8. Check the blade mounting bolt at frequentintervals for proper tightness.9. Always allow the mower to cool down before storing.10. W hen servicing the blades be aware that, eventhough the poZer source is sZitched oႇ, theblades can still be moved.11. Never remove or tamper with safety devices.Check their proper operation regularly. Neverdo anything to interfere with the intendedfunction of a safety device or to reduce theprotection provided by a safety device.12. Do not leave the machine unattended outdoorsin the rain.13. W hen storing the machine, avoid direct sun-light and rain, and store it in a place where itdoes not get hot or humid.Battery tool use and care1. Recharge only Zith the charger specified bythe manufacturer. A c h a r g e r t h a t i s s u i t a b l e f o rone type of battery pack may create a risk of firewhen used with another battery pack.2. Use poZer tools only Zith specifically desig-nated battery packs. Use of any other batterypacks may create a risk of injury and fire.3. W hen battery pack is not in use, keep it awayfrom other metal objects, like paper clips,coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metalobjects, that can make a connection from oneterminal to another. Shorting the battery termi-nals together may cause burns or a fire.4. Under abusive conditions, liquid may beejected from the battery; avoid contact. If con-tact accidentally occurs, Àush Zith Zater. Ifliquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medicalhelp. Liquid ejected from the battery may causeirritationorburns.5. Do not use a battery pack or tool that is dam-aged or modified. Damaged or modified batteriesmay exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting infire, explosion or risk of injury.6. Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire orexcessive temperature. Exposure to fire or tem-perature above 130 °C may cause explosion.7. Follow all charging instructions and do notcharge the battery pack or tool outside thetemperature range specified in the instruc-tions. Charging improperly or at temperaturesoutside the specified range may damage thebattery and increase the risk of fire.Electrical and battery safety1. Do not dispose of the battery(ies) in a fire.The cell may explode. Check with local codes forpossiblespecialdisposalinstructions.2. Do not open or mutilate the battery(ies). R e l e a s e delectrolyte is corrosive and may cause damage to theeyes or skin. It may be toxic if swallowed.3. Do not charge battery in rain, or in wet locations.4. Do not charge the battery outdoors.5. Do not handle charger, including charger plug,and charger terminals with wet hands.6. Do not replace the battery in the rain.7. Do not wet the terminal of battery with liquidsuch as water, or submerge the battery. Do notleave the battery in the rain, nor charge, use,or store the battery in a damp or wet place. Iftheterminalgetswetorliquidentersinsideofbat-tery, the battery may be short circuited and there isa risk of overheat, fire, or explosion.8. After removing the battery from the machine orcharger, be sure to attach the battery cover tothe battery and store it in a dry place.9. Do not replace the battery with wet hands.10. Avoid dangerous environment. Don' t use themachine in dump or wet locations or expose itto rain. W a t e r e n t e r i n g t h e m a c h i n e w i l l i n c r e a s etheriskofelectricshock.11. If the battery cartridge gets wet, drain thewater inside and then wipe it with a dry cloth.Dry the battery cartridge completely in a dryplace before use. |
