4 ENGLISH6. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properlymaintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edgesare less likely to bind and are easier to control.7. Use the power tool, accessories and tool bitsetc. in accordance with these instructions, tak-ing into account the working conditions andthe work to be performed. Use of the power toolfor operations different from those intended couldresult in a hazardous situation.8. Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry,clean and free from oil and grease. Slipperyhandles and grasping surfaces do not allow forsafe handling and control of the tool in unexpectedsituations.9. When using the tool, do not wear cloth workgloves which may be entangled. The entangle-ment of cloth work gloves in the moving parts mayresult in personal injury.Battery tool use and care1. Recharge only with the charger specified bythe manufacturer. A charger that is suitable forone type of battery pack may create a risk of firewhen used with another battery pack.2. Use power tools only with specifically desig-nated battery packs. Use of any other batterypacks may create a risk of injury and fire.3. When battery pack is not in use, keep it awayfrom other metal objects, like paper clips,coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metalobjects, that can make a connection from oneterminal to another. Shorting the battery termi-nals together may cause burns or a fire.4. Under abusive conditions, liquid may beejected from the battery; avoid contact. If con-tact accidentally occurs, flush with water. Ifliquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medicalhelp. Liquid ejected from the battery may causeirritation or burns.5. Do not use a battery pack or tool that is dam-aged or modified. Damaged or modified batteriesmay exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting infire, explosion or risk of injury.6. Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire orexcessive temperature. Exposure to fire or tem-perature above 130 °C may cause explosion.7. Follow all charging instructions and do notcharge the battery pack or tool outside thetemperature range specified in the instruc-tions. Charging improperly or at temperaturesoutside the specified range may damage thebattery and increase the risk of fire.Service1. Have your power tool serviced by a qualifiedrepair person using only identical replacementparts. This will ensure that the safety of the powertool is maintained.2. Never service damaged battery packs. Serviceof battery packs should only be performed by themanufacturer or authorized service providers.3. Follow instruction for lubricating and chang-ing accessories.4. Do not modify or attempt to repair the appli-ance or the battery pack except as indicated inthe instructions for use and care.Cordless rebar tying tool safetywarnings1. If any abnormalities are found, stop using thetool immediately. Do not repair the tool byyourself. Ask your local Makita Service Centerfor repairs. If the tool is used in an incompletestate, an accident may occur.8. When installing the battery cartridge, be sureto lock the trigger and do not place your fingeron the trigger. Incorrect operation may cause anaccident.9. When tying rebars, exercise care not to movethem. If rebars move due to tying, you may beinjured.10. Do not touch the wires during the wire tyingprocess. Otherwise, you may get caught in thewire and injured.11. Do not bring your hands close to the tyingpoint during the wire tying process. Otherwise,you may get caught in the wire and injured.12. Hold the grip of the tool firmly during the wiretying process. Otherwise, your wrist may betwisted or your body may be pulled, which mayresult in an injury.13. Do not move to the next tying point until thecurrent wire tying process is completed.Otherwise, you may be injured.14. Pay attention to the end of the wire during thewire tying process. Otherwise, your hand maybe caught by the end of the wire, and you may beinjured.15. Do not touch the contact plate during the wiretying process. If you need to touch the contactplate, be sure to lock the trigger, or turn thepower switch off and remove the battery car-tridge. Otherwise, you may be injured. |
