Speed changeTwo rpm ranges can be preselected withthe speed change knob.For low speed, turn the knob so that thepointer on the knob points to the number 1marked on the tool body.For high speed, turn the knob so that thepointer points to the number 2.If the knob is not turned smoothly, turn thechuck slightly in either direction and thenturn the knob again.ISelecting action modeThis tool has an action mode change but-ton.For rotation only, depress the button fromthe side with rmv symbol.For rotation with hammering, depress thebutton from the side with symbol.Low speed High speedSpeedchangeknob7Action mode change buttonCAUTION:Always depress the button all the way to your desired mode position. Be sure to use atungstencarbide tipped bit. Do not apply more pressure when the hole become cloggedwith chips or particles. Instead, turn the tool at an idle, then remove the bit partially fromthe hole. By repeating this several times, the hole will be cleaned outAfter drilling the hole, use the blow-outbulb to clean the dust out of the hole.8
