(Except for model HR4011C.)1006329Loosen the six screws with a screwdriver and remove thecrank cap. Rest the tool on the table with the bit endpointing upwards. This will allow the old grease to collectinside the crank housing.12006330Wipe out the old grease inside and replace with a freshgrease (60 g). Use only Makita genuine hammer grease(optional accessory). Filling with more than the specifiedamount of grease (approx. 60 g) can cause faultyhammering action or tool failure. Fill only with thespecified amount of grease.1006331Reinstall the crank cap and tighten with the screwdriver.Connect the connector and reinstall the handle.123006332CAUTION:• Do not tighten the crank cap excessively.
