Loosen the hex boltssecuring the guide fence using the socket wrench.Lower the handle fully and lock it in the loweredposition by pushing in the stopper pin. Square theside of the blade with the face of the guide fenceusing a triangular rule, try-square, etc. Thensecurely tighten the hex bolts on the guide fence inthe order from the right side.Fig.46Make sure that the pointer points to 0° on the miterscale.
